Dear diary: Today I crashed a 38 foot yacht into a sandbar. What did you do?

I want a cat in the hat hat for my birthday. Birthday party, that is, which is about 5 weeks after my actually birthday. Yes, that makes perfect sense. Pooie to you. I'm thinking of dropping some subtle hints to a friend about buying me a cat in the hat hat. Something along the lines of "BUY ME A CAT IN THE HAT HAT, BIZ-NATCH!". I'm wondering if that's too obscure.

My room is... Clean. This scares even me. But yes, I can actually see my desk for the first time in months. :o Christmas was very... meh. Which is annoying, because I want Christmas to be fun, and when it isn't I get sad. :( I got very good presents, and I do not appreciate them, which is- for lack of a better word- pathetic.
